Mission

Mission of the Geopolitics and Black Sea Region Direction represents the implementation research in the following fields: geopolitics, political science and international relations, also economics and public relations.

 

The main strategy of the Direction 

Working over the different programs and projects;

Organization of the different events – conferences, trainings, lectures etc.

Participation in the different events on behalf of the Center;

Implementation research and based on those researches the implementation of the publishing activities.

Field Studies

Foreign Policy of Russia;

Analysis of the Current processes in the World Politics;

The Global Dimensions of the Democracy enlargement in the XXI Century. Optimistic and pessimistic scenarios;

The Book: "World Geography. Political, Economic and Demographic Dimensions"

In June, 2017, in Germany, the Book: "World Geography. Political, Economic and Demographic Dimensions" was published. Publishing Company: Scholars Press. Author of the Book: Director of the Center, Prof. Nika Chitadze. Editor: Professor of the International Black Sea University, Lela Abdushelishvili. The main dilemma of the Contemporary World Order: Geo-economics vs Geopolitics

On February 27, 2017, Dr. Nika Chitadze was included as a memer of the commission at the student`s conference: The main dilemma of the Contemporary World Order: Geo-economics VS Geopolitics.

The conference was held at the Faculty of Social and Political Science of the Tbilisi State University.
