Ivanna Machitidze joined the International Black Sea University in 2012. She received her MA degrees from Donetsk National University as well as from the Central European University (Budapest, Hungary). Ms. Machitidze has obtained a degree of Candidate of Sciences at Donetsk National University with specialization in Political Science. Her research interests are focused on Politics of Central and Eastern Europe.

On the faculty of Social Sciences Ms. Machitidze is teaching courses on International Politics, Introduction to Political Science and Politics of CEE Region.
