Diana Khomeriki participated in the “European Angst” conference which took place on 6-7 December 2016 in Brussels, Belgium. It was organized by the Goethe-Institut together with the European Movement International and other partners. 40 students from around the world were invited to participate. The event addressed urgent questions around populism, xenophobia and extremism in europe. 40 students wrote a joint manifesto on the future of Europe was handed over to the European institutions at the end of the debate. Students participated in debates of the conference together with renowned speakers, such as Slavoj Žižek, Didier Eribon, Elif Şafak, Łukasz Warzecha, Sonia Seymour Mikich and others.
